FHI Foundation

The FHI Foundation finances initiatives that enhance and expand capabilities and demonstrate innovation. The Foundation was established in 1990 from the proceeds of the sale of Clinical Research International (CRI) to further the development mission of FHI 360. Since then, the FHI Foundation’s support has ranged from funding ground-breaking work in HIV and AIDS and strategic initiatives, like Integrated Development, that advance development work in the United States and globally, to stimulating new ideas and incentivizing innovations.

Innovations in Healthcare

Innovations in Healthcare

Innovations in Healthcare (IiH) is a nonprofit organization hosted by Duke University and founded in 2011 by Duke Medicine, McKinsey & Company, and the World Economic Forum. It aims to improve health care worldwide by supporting the scale and impact of promising innovations. Based in the U.S. (North Carolina) and Kenya (Nairobi), IiH manages a network of more than 80 organizations across 70 countries, providing advisory, education and connection resources to advance their growth.

 

Smart Impact Capital

Smart Impact Capital is a self-paced online toolkit designed to help entrepreneurs prepare for the fundraising process and to secure the capital that is the best fit for the growth of their enterprise. Developed by the Center for the Advancement of Social Entrepreneurship (CASE) at Duke University, Smart Impact Capital incorporates the insights and best practices from hundreds of entrepreneurs, investors and accelerators from around the globe into over 30 hours of bite-sized, web-based resources and tools.
